Hello Friends,
Diane here, to share with you my latest creations to inspire you. I have used the gorgeous Frozen Roses Collection by Ciao Bella Paper. This collection is so totally amazing with it’s beautiful winter scenes and it’s adorable little winter white mongoose. I hope that you will consider this lovely paper collection for your Christmas and Winter projects this season.
Card one: Christmas Blessings
This card measures 5 x 7. The base is 110 lb. white cardstock and I just took paper from the Frozen Roses Collection and layered different pieces onto the front of my card base. I fussy cut elements from the Ciao Bella collection and placed them in a pleasing arrangement on top of my card. Next, I popped up the rose, added a twine bow and I cut the sentiment using a die from my stash, from the papers, glued it onto the card and then I was done. Very easy card to make.
Above, is a photo of the inside of my card. I simply, layered papers from the collection onto the inside of my card to match the front. I then, included a white panel to write a personal message.
Card two: Merry Christmas
For this next card, I really wanted to make some beautiful handmade poinsettias to embellish my card. I used a die and cut the flowers from Ciao Bella watercolor paper for added stability. You can use any poinsettia die you may have in your stash for this step. This card measures 4 1/4 x 8. I used the lovely forest green door paper for the focal. I thought this paper was fantastic. It was so much fun arranging the poinsettias, berries, leaves and twirl die cuts. Next, I created the checkered bow using Really Reasonable Ribbon and added some gold twine bows within the design. Using gold embossing powder, I embossed my sentiment using the stamp from “Under the Gum Leaves” stamp set from a Kaiser Craft collection, which is still available at FotoBella.com.
I had fun just creating with this one.

Card three: Peace on Earth
Here is a pretty card I created basically in the same manor as card one. It measures 5 x 7 and the base is white cardstock. Again, I fussy cut elements from the elements page within the Ciao Bella collection. I popped up the lanterned this time for added dimension. Its a pretty simple card.
