Chris’s Ornament
I was so excited to get a chance to play and spread a little Christmas cheer to my new friends at Fotobella! I really fell in love with the Ciao Bella Northern Lights papers, and decided to create my card and ornament using these papers. The papers made for a perfect background for my Snowglobe. I am so happy with how this turned out! You need to buy these products!
Kristine’s Ornament
I used the new steampunk-themed Christmas Time collection by Graphic 45 to make a matching card and ornament for Diane. Using the 8x8 paper pad, the Santa and postage stamp images from one of the cut-apart pages and a border strip were perfect for this. The black and white checkerboard pattern makes the Santa image stand out!
For the ornament, I also used the Christmas Time collection. I created a mini book with plain cardstock and curled the edges to give it dimension. Next, adding more images from the cut-apart sheet to decorate the pages and sealed the entire book with Mod Podge before adding sequins and a few poinsettias and holly leaves.
Diane’s Ornament
Hello! Today I am sharing the Christmas Card and Ornament I made for the FotoBella design team secret exchange. It was created using the Graphic 45 Christmas Time Collection. I used the 12 x 12 papers, sticker sheet and chipboard pieces along with a few items from my personal stash. I started by creating a large rosette, and took a left over wooden star from the Graphic 45 Christmas Time monthly card making kit (available at Fotobella.com) and covered it with the black & white check paper. Then, I cut some doilies, added some stickers and poinsettia flowers. This was so fun to make and gift, I hope you are inspired by this project and will give it a try for yourself.
ReNae’s Ornament
My ornament for Kristine looks just like a Christmas cookie! I painted an old resin frame with Stamperia Allegro paint in pastel pink and embellished it with glitter, gems and other ephemera from the Sugar Cookie collection by Prima. I placed an image from the paper collection inside the frame, then fashioned a sash from card stock and adhered it to the front of the ornament for a festive look! This was embellished with gemstones, flowers and a little metal starburst charm, also from the collection. The coordinating card was created in much the same way, except a glitter diecut was used to frame the image. The green glass glitter is a sparkling way to highlight the Victorian image of both card and ornament!
