Hi all, Jennifer Taylor here. Today I am stopping by to share a fun and easy door decoration for you to try. Once you make this you will want to make them for every holiday like me. I made this with the Carta Bella Baseball Collection from FotoBella.
Grab your Carta Bella Baseball Collection
Here is how I did it:
First, I took four 12 x 12 coordinating pattern papers from the collection, and cut them all in half so that each pattern paper you have to strips paper for each. I then, accordion fold every piece.
I then connected them all together to make one long strip. Next, I took the two ends and glue them together which will form your circular base. Set that aside now and grab a piece of pattern paper. ( Carta Bella papers are so great for this project because they are nice and thick paper to work with)
Cut a Baseball Circle
Cut a 12 inch circle out of this baseball themed paper. Now, the 12 inch circle of cardstock will be your base for holding the strip of accordion circle paper.
Now, shape your accordion strip to a circle put down glue on your base . I first used doubled sided adhesive for a temporary hold then followed with hot glue to secure it better. Next, lay it on top .
Now cut a 4 inch circle of a coordinating patterned paper to cover the middle hole and hot it glue down .
Then, I used a phrase thicker from my stash for the center but you can easily add a large diecut from the collection or your stash to finish it off . Finally, hot glue a coordinating ribbon to the top so you can hang it on your door.
I had a ton of fun creating this and I hope I inspired you to make this project. Thanks for stopping by and happy creating.
