Today I am going to show you how to make a Valentine Layout of your sweetheart. This layout features my daughter Sequita, and her husband Chris. The two of them have been happily married now for more than 7 years.
I started my Valentine layout with paper from the Simple Stories Vintage My Valentine Simple Basics Kit . This is fabulous paper, and it has beautiful color patterns on both sides of each sheet making it super easy to use. You can find this collection and more at Fotobella Online Scrapbook Store .
Next I chose my photo and placed it into one of the Simple Stories Vintage My Valentine Layered Frames . These are chipboard frames made to fit a variety of photo sizes.
This is what my process on this layout looks like so far. Super cute, and easy.
Next I used some beautiful matching paper to place this Valentine photo mat on. I chose a beautiful floral sheet from this Simple Stories Vintage My Valentine Collectors Essential Kit . This is a real money saving kit, as it comes with beautiful pattern paper, matching chipboard, washi tape, and a sticker sheet. Everything you need to make several beautiful layouts.
For my next step I added a blue strip from the Simple Stories Vintage My Valentine Simple Basics Kit. These patterns looked great together so I had no problem matching the colors or patterns.
It was as this point I added a title block cut from one of the papers in the Simple Stories Vintage My Valentine Collectors Essential Kit. I loved that this kit came with these title pages that could be cut and used for project life style pages, or layouts.
Next I started adding pieces of chipboard from Simple Stories Vintage-My Valentine 6x12 Chipboard sheet.
Here is the Simple Stories Vintage-My Valentine 6x12 Chipboard. You will see later in my layout that I used several pieces from this chipboard sheet.
The title is beautiful now with the addition of the added chipboard pieces. This is a really simple way to add depth, and texture to your layouts.
Up next I added more cut outs, chipboard, and some added bling just to give this layout some sparkle.
Here is my finished layout for my daughter's sweetheart page. To finish the layout off I added the sequins and button. A beautifully finished layout and it was super easy to complete.
