Hi crafty friends. It’s Kristine and I’m back with another installment of the tutorial series for the Alice in Wonderland mini album. We are getting near the end of the project and I’m so excited to see all of the pages come together. But first, we have to build and decorate the last page!
If you’re just now tuning in, there are three other parts to the series. They cover how to construct and decorate the mini album pages. The videos are broken down into segments to allow you to craft along in short amounts of time. Or, you may just want to sit down and watch them all in one day! Also, there’s an introductory video of the supplies you will need as well as how to create the base pages of the mini album. All of the products I use in the tutorial are available for purchase on the FotoBella website. Sign up for the mailing list to get an extra 10% off!
Mini Album Tutorial Videos 9 & 10
In video #9, we will begin constructing the interactive elements on the back of Page 2. There is another waterfall feature, but this time the waterfall is vertical. The inside includes flaps to create another spread for pictures. Also, there is a fun zig-zag element on the inside flap.
Then, check out video #10 to begin decorating Page 2 of the mini album. We will be paper piecing like the rest of the pages to have a blend of the patterns. Be prepared to do some fussy cutting for this section! We will have many fussy cut pieces to add extra detail to the mini album pages and spreads.
In the next, and final, tutorial segment we will be creating the cover and hinge system. Then, we we be placing the pages into the mini album and decorating the cover. It will consist of two more videos. If you haven’t yet started following along, head over to the FotoBella online store now and pick up the supplies.
