Hi crafty friends. It’s Kristine and I’m back today with the second part of our new tutorial series. If you’re just joining us, welcome to the Sir Vagabond folio tutorial series! Please check the last blog post for the first part of the tutorial. As a recap, the first video tutorial teaches you how to construct the base of the folio. Then, you will create the interactive elements for the page. In the second video, we decorate side 1 with the Sir Vagabond papers and some of the Lady Vagabond die cut pieces. Below is a picture of side 1 of our folio.
Sir Vagabond Tutorial Videos #3 and #4
Then, in video #3, we will begin working on side 2 of our folio. First, we will use black cardstock to begin making flaps, pockets, and more interactive elements. Similar to side 1, we will be making a moving element from the decorative papers.
Once you finish constructing the base of side 1, you can move on to the fun part - decorating with the Sir Vagabond papers! In video #4, I will walk you through step-by-step how to cut and place your papers to decorate the page. We will be creating another ribbon and buckle closure to match side 1. Also, we will be adding more of the Lady Vagabond die cut pieces for extra dimension.
Finishing Your Folio
Finally, it’s time to add the final touches. In video #5, I will show you how to create photo mats and photo booklets. We will be making these pieces for both side 1 and side 2. This is a great time for you to add your own style by changing the Sir Vagabond papers being used. The possibilities are endless. However, in the video, I will give you specific measurements for creating the elements in my folio.
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial series and making your Sir Vagabond folio. If you haven’t started yet, check out the FotoBella online store to purchase your materials today.
