Hi crafty friends. It’s Kristine and I’m back today with part 3 of the Stamperia Alice in Wonderland mini album tutorial series.
If you’re new to this series, first check out the previous FotoBella blog posts. There are details on supplies needed to make the mini album and make the base pages. Then, you’ll create interactive elements for Page 1 front and how to start decorating with the Stamperia Alice in Wonderland papers. Next, Part 2 shows how to create the interactive elements and cut the decorative papers for Page 1 back.
In this segment, we will begin constructing the interactive elements and features for the front of Page 2. Then, we will be using the Stamperia Alice in Wonderland collection to decorate the pages. We will be using the 12 x 12 double sided papers, the backgrounds, and the collectables. For embellishments, we will be using the die cut assortment which are thick chipboard pieces.
Stamperia Mini Album Tutorial Videos 7 & 8
Video #7 in this series will teach you how to create an expandable pocket for the front of Page 2. Then, we will begin working on the inside pages of the Stamperia mini album and add some interactive flaps. This page design is very simple, but it will hold plenty of photos in the spread and in the expandable pocket!
In video #8, I will show you how to cut the decorative papers for each section of the mini album. There is a lot of paper piecing in this video so be patient. I love the look of the various decorative papers on a mini album page, so my style is to piece the papers around stationary photo mats. It takes time to cut and assemble, but the results are worth it!
We will come back to this page again in the final video to add more interactive elements to the expandable pocket. For now, however, we will leave it as is and move on to constructing and decorating the final page of the mini album. Stay tuned, and if you have any questions, please leave a comment on the video.
Happy crafting!
