Design team member Jeanne here with you today to share with you a couple of Memory Dex cards also called Rolodex Cards that I created using one of the newest collections from Prima Marketing designer/artist Frank Garcia called “My Sweet”!
The Beginning of the Memory Dex Spinner
I had recently had purchased the Heidi Swapp Memory Dex Spinner in pink of course. I also bought the Heidi Swapp punch. Previously, I had been creating these cards before without the punch using a tutorial on YouTube. So if you don’t have a punch of die, you can try this tutorial like I did and it works just as good.
Lets begin by cutting some white scrap card stock to 3.5 high X 4 wide, I chose and cut the paper I picked from the 12x12 paper pad I was sent from Fotobella. I cut the paper the same size. I did use the punch on the card stock first then on the pattern paper because I learned the hard way when I adhered the front and back pieces to the card stock, it was too thick to use the punch. So I went ahead and punched each sheet individually.
I started by adding some pieces of lace trim on the card then picked out some of the ephemera from the same collection. Then I added the flowers from the Sewn With Love package as well and some of the Say It In Crystals as well. Lastly I added a variety of size and color of sequins placed in a few areas on the memory dex card.
In Closing
I absolutely enjoy creating these cards using the wonderful products that I was sent to create with this month. Run over to Fotobella.com and check out this and other amazing collections they are currently carrying. I will be back later this month to share other creations that I will be making with this collection so stay tuned. Until then enjoy and get inspired by the rest of the Fotobella designers when they share their creations here. So pop in and check it out! See ya soon!
Hugs,
Jeanne
