Hi crafty friends! Have you seen all of the fun embellishments Stamperia makes for the Alice collection? If not, you should check them out in the FotoBella store. There are so many different products to choose from and they’re all so cute! Not only for scrapbooks and albums, these goodies are perfect for mixed media projects, too. Below, I am going to highlight a few of my favorites.

Stamperia Alice

First, I have to rave about the gorgeous rice papers. Stamperia makes high quality rice papers with beautiful images on them. They perfectly match the paper collection, making them a great choice for any project. I love the texture of their papers. The fibers are sturdy yet soft to the touch. Further, they hold up well when applied with glue or Mod Podge. However, my favorite part of these papers is that the image quality is high, yet the fibers of the rice paper are still visible. For my project, I will be using the Alice Rounds rice paper and the Chessboard rice paper sheets.

Another one of my favorite embellishments is the Stamperia Colored Wooden Shapes. My package includes 12 pieces of various sizes. They are a great way to add dimension to your projects. Like the rice papers, they are a perfect match and the image quality is top-notch.

One of the first things that comes to mind when I think of Alice in Wonderland is tea. There are so many tea party images and embellishments in the Stamperia Alice collection. I knew I had to create something tea-themed. Hence, the mixed media tea box to hold tea bags.

The Tea Box featuring Stamperia Products

Made from a recycled iPhone box, I first covered the bottom part with the Stamperia Chessboard rice paper. Then, the inside is lined with scraps of cardstock. To start the lid, I used aqua paint, and then a butterfly stencil with red paint. Next, I cut the Mad Hatter circle from the Stamperia Alice Rounds rice paper sheet and adhered him to the bottom corner. Then, I used distress inks and Nuvo mousse to add distressing around the edges of the box.

To add dimension, I selected red and ivory roses from Graphic 45. These roses are situated in the top left corner of the box. Then, from the Stamperia Colored Wooden Shapes package, I selected the “Drink Me”, Alice, key, and three heart pieces for my box. These pieces are glued on with a strong adhesive. Once assembled, I sprayed my box top with a high gloss sealant. Finally, it’s time to add some tea bags to the inside and display this in the kitchen!

This is a quick and easy project to make, yet it looks beautiful! It can hold a variety of things, so if you are not a tea drinker, fill it with other goodies. With the holidays right around the corner, goodie boxes such as these are a beautiful way to give a simple gift. I hope you will consider making one today. Check out the FotoBella online store to pick up your supplies today.

Happy crafting!
